They also sometimes make master-of-the-obvious points, perhaps to get a rise and see how the player reacts.
Former Michigan cornerback Jourdan Lewis, who is 5-foot-10, 188 pounds, has had plenty of teams point out the fact he is a shorter prospect.
Lewis was asked on Sunday during his news conference to offer a sample question from an NFL team.
“ ‘You know you’re short, right?’ ” Lewis said. “Stuff like that. That’s one of the simple ones I got.
