Michael Connelly, Robert Stone and JP DesCamp talk to the media about the alleged sexual abuse by former U of M doctor Robert Anderson Detroit Free Press
When Chuck Christian became the first former University of Michigan football player to publicly allege abuse by the late team doctor Robert Anderson, he and his attorney expressed hope last month they could reach an out-of court settlement with the school.
But last week Christian, 60, filed a joint lawsuit with two other anonymous plaintiffs against the university’s board of regents, detailing his claims.
“The reason we filed suit for Chuck is because of Chuck’s health condition,” Christian’s attorney, Michael Wright, said.
