Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark, the former Michigan football standout, was charged Friday by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office with felony possession of an assault weapon stemming from a March incident, a spokesperson for the office told The Kansas City Star.
Per the Star, Clark and another man were arrested March 13 by the California Highway Patrol after officers discovered a loaded handgun and loaded rifle in their car following a traffic stop.
The arraignment for Clark — who could face up to three years in prison if convicted — is set for July 14, the L.
