ANN ARBOR, MI - Former University of Michigan football player Jourdan Lewis is accused of grabbing his girlfriend by the neck and holding her down on the floor.
That's according to an Ann Arbor Police Department report that prompted prosecutors to charge Lewis with misdemeanor domestic violence.
The police report, obtained through the Freedom of Information Act on Monday, March 20, states that the incident started because Lewis fell asleep with the lights on.
Lewis' 20-year-old girlfriend told police she got home to the apartment the couple shared in the 3000 block of Signature in Ann Arbor around 12:30 a.
