The Michigan football team's resume is looking better each week.
And its path -- including a showdown at Michigan State on Saturday (noon, FOX) -- to the Big Ten title game is beginning to clear.
Which is why ESPN on Friday, in a story published for its website, ranked the No. 6 Wolverines as the most likely 1-loss team to reach the College Football Playoff in 2018.
From ESPN reporter Heather Dinich, who lists Michigan (6-1, 4-0 Big Ten) ahead of Georgia, Oklahoma, LSU and Texas, among others:
"Given how poorly Georgia played in its loss to LSU and the Bulldogs' upcoming difficult schedule, it seems -- at least for now -- more likely that the Wolverines will win their league, rather than Georgia winning its," Dinich writes.
