ANN ARBOR -- Appearing on Michigan's campus the day before Michigan will face Wisconsin in a prime-time matchup between Top 15 teams, the host of ESPN's "College GameDay" was blunt on the question of the game's importance for the Wolverines.
"I think it's gargantuan," Rece Davis said Friday. "I think their entire season hinges on this game. They haven't won these types of games with (Jim) Harbaugh being here."
Michigan's lack of success in high-profile matchups under Harbaugh, hired as head coach before the 2015 season, has been well documented. Since 2015, the Wolverines are 2-8 against teams ranked in the top-15 at the time.
