Anything can happen in the recruiting game and that point prove very true on Wednesday with offensive lineman Erik Swenson surprisingly reopening his recruitment. The four-star offensive lineman out of Downers Groves (Ill.) South was Michigan’s first commitment for the 2016 class, originally pledging to Brady Hoke a year before his dismissal.
Swenson made it through the coaching transition to Jim Harbaugh and stuck with the class another year, but with exactly two weeks left before signing day, he is now on the market.
“I would like to thank the University of Michigan community for the love and support,” Swenson stated on Twitter.
