Ed Warinner: Michigan OL 'wasn't where it needed to be' vs. Notre Dame

ANN ARBOR -- The Michigan football coaching staff has made it a point over the last several weeks to point out the improvements along the offensive line.

And they're there, both in the eye test and from a statistical standpoint.

But even after head coach Jim Harbaugh began pushing a narrative after a Week 1 loss, Michigan offensive line coach Ed Warinner admitted this week his group wasn't up to snuff in the loss to Notre Dame.

"We weren't quite where we needed to be," Warinner said Monday night on the "Inside Michigan Football" radio show.
