ANN ARBOR -- The Michigan football team had two players leave the field for differing injuries on Saturday.
And postgame, after fourth-ranked Michigan staved off Indiana, 31-20, Jim Harbaugh sounded optimistic about both.
We'll begin with running back Berkley Edwards, the more gruesome of the two, who took a helmet-to-helmet hit on kickoff coverage in the fourth quarter.
Edwards was knocked out from the hit from Indiana linebacker Cam Jones -- who was flagged for targeting and ejected from the game -- and had to be carted off the field.
Harbaugh said the graduate transfer suffered a "good-sized" concussion, but was talking and responding to medical personnel on the way off the field.
