Michigan Wolverines head coach Dusty May picked up a 70-67 win in his homecoming to Assembly Hall on Saturday, and speculation continued to rise he could be a potential target in the Indiana Hoosiers’ upcoming coaching search.
In the immediate aftermath of Indiana head coach Mike Woodson announcing his decision to retire after the season, May came up as a possibility for the Hoosiers because of his deep ties to the program. He was born and raised in Indiana, and was a student manager under Bob Knight from 1996-2000.
May remained focused on winning in his return to Indiana, and he reiterated that following the win.
