Even at 11 years old, Duncan Robinson's mind was racing.
Though his mother, Elisabeth, lived it with her son, it really hit home when she picked Duncan up after a baseball lesson.
His Rye, N.H., Little League team was preparing for the state playoffs and Duncan was getting some extra prep work, an hour with a instructor getting some hitting and pitching feedback.
“He had this pitching machine and Duncan wanted to go over and see the inner workings, the lever system and all that, he was very curious about that,” Elisabeth recalled. “When I arrived to pick Duncan up, they were looking at the machine.
