Michigan's Cooper Marody is an aspiring musician already with a hit pop song on Soundcloud called "Then I See Your Car."
With as much success as the Brighton native has had playing neutral-site hockey games in Detroit, he might want to switch his genre to the Motown sound.
Marody recorded two points, including a goal at 4:22 of the first period, to help the No. 19 Wolverines edge rival Michigan State 3-2 during the Duel in the D matchup Saturday night at Little Caesars Arena.
Marody, a junior forward, has eight points the past two seasons in games played at Joe Louis Arena and LCA.
