KALAMAZOO, MI - Trailing 33-27 with 15 minutes of football left, Western Michigan senior wide receiver Drake Harris had little time to soak in the significance of his first career touchdown catch on Saturday during his team's Week 5 against Miami (Ohio).
Two days after the Broncos' 40-39 comeback win against the RedHawks, Harris talked Tuesday about what that career milestone meant to him during the WMU football weekly press conference.
"I've just been kind of like, 'Dang, I have to get in the end zone,' but it finally came," said the 6-foot-4 Grand Rapids native.
