The self-proclaimed "inventor of the college football playoff" is now unemployed, apparently.
Dr. Pepper commercials this fall won't be featuring Larry Culpepper, the soft-drink peddling, visor-wearing superfan who played by actor Jim Connor.
The company informed Connor that it's going a different direction with it's marketing campaign.
