Donovan Jeter out for season, other injury notes

It’s unclear how significant a role Donovan Jeter would have played this year given Michigan’s depth up front, but it’s now known that the true freshman will redshirt as a result of an injury suffered in practice. Head coach Jim Harbaugh revealed the news at his Monday press conference, but did not provide specifics on the type of injury.

“Donovan Jeter has had a surgery and he’s going to be out for the year,” Harbaugh noted. “

Jeter enrolled in January to get a jump on learning the scheme and advancing academically, working primarily at the strong side defensive end spot in the spring.
