After another underwhelming offensive performance, the Michigan Wolverines’ coaching staff could consider trying to get running back Donovan Edwards more involved in the passing attack moving forward. Edwards has proven to be a consistent threat as a receiver throughout his career, but only has four catches for 13 yards up to this point in the season.
It’s clear the Wolverines need to make significant changes on offense after quarterback Davis Warren threw three interceptions in a 28-18 win over the Arkansas State Red Wolves. The offense has struggled to create explosive plays, so integrating Edwards more prominently into the passing game could offer a much-needed spark.
