ANN ARBOR -- Don Brown did some reflecting last week.
The Michigan defense coordinator was having a conversation with the rest of the coaching staff when, somehow, the 2016 season came up.
A successful one at that, one that produced 10 wins, nearly took Michigan to the Big Ten title game and helped build the foundation for what Brown wanted accomplished on that side of the ball.
But it was still lacking what every coach and coordinator dreams of: depth.
"A couple of years ago, everybody was learning," Brown said last Wednesday, six days into the start of fall camp.
