ANN ARBOR -- Apart from becoming Jim Harbaugh's new best friend, it's been a pretty busy year for Don Brown.
Michigan's new defensive coordinator joined the program in January shortly after the team scored a victory in the Citrus Bowl.
And while there's a partial sense of "if it's not broke, don't fix it" with a Michigan defense that returns a load of talent from a unit that ranked No. 4 nationally a year ago, Brown made it very clear last winter that he was hired to do a job. And he'll be doing it his way.
