ANN ARBOR -- Michigan's defense is sure to be back atop the national rankings for a handful of statistics after shutting down Northwestern on Saturday, 38-0.
Following the game, Big Ten Network's Lisa Byington grabbed defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin and senior linebacker Desmond Morgan. Here's what the two had to say about the defense's third-straight shutout.
Durkin on shutting out the Wildcats:
"I'm really proud of the kids, they played really hard for 60 minutes again. The shutouts are a team stat. Our special teams are playing great, our offense is doing a great job of protecting the ball, sustaining long drives and keeping us off the field.
