Former Michigan forward D.J. Wilson remains a popular first-round projection in NBA mock drafts, and he might even be a lock, according to ESPN.com's Chad Ford.
Referencing the Brooklyn Nets at No. 22, Ford wrote: "The word around the NBA is that the Nets promised Wilson they'd take him. Whether that was at No. 27 (the pick they traded to the Lakers this week) or here is unclear. Given that they just traded Brook Lopez (and because Timofey Mozgov is ... unreliable), a center like Bradley or Pasecniks makes sense here. However, Wilson could become a stretch-4 who pairs nicely with D'Angelo Russell.
