EAST LANSING, Mich. -- The video went viral, and the deed was what everyone wanted to talk about all afternoon.
Devin Bush Jr.'s pre-game beeline for midfield Saturday morning at Spartan Stadium and his subsequent attempt to deface the Spartans logo made for another moment in the iconic Michigan-Michigan State rivalry.
And after the Wolverines' 21-7 win, their seventh straight and first over a ranked AP Top 25 opponent since 2006, Bush explained the circumstances surrounding it.
But first, allow him to set the scene.
"We was warming up, some of our players, and Michigan State came out and spread the whole 50 yards of the field, locked arms and walked 100 yards while we're trying to warm up," Bush said.
