One of Michigan football’s leaders was recognized for his play on the field by being a finalist for multiple awards, but now he is being recognized by being a first-team All America athlete.
Michigan linebacker Devin Bush was named to the Walter Camp Football Foundation’s All-America first team yesterday.
Michigan defensive end Chase Winovich was also named to the second team.
Bush was, in my opinion, Michigan’s MVP on defense in 2018. He totaled 79 tackles, nine tackles for loss, five sacks, six pass breakups and two quarterback hits. His sideline-to-sideline speed will be greatly missed if he decides to declare for the NFL Draft.
