Growing up in Franklin, Ohio, Luke Kennard dreamed of playing in Kentucky’s famed Rupp Arena.
But when he developed into a coveted college prospect as one of the best players in Ohio high school history, he widened his options.
Michigan, one of the first schools to offer Kennard a scholarship, was a top option.
Michigan made his final five before he selected Duke, where he spent two seasons before becoming the Detroit Pistons’ first-round pick in 2017.
