Derrick Walton Jr. has gotten used to being uncomfortable.
Walton signed a 10-day contract on Friday with his hometown team, the Detroit Pistons, continuing a three-year odyssey through the pro ranks. He could make his Pistons debut on Sunday, when they begin a four-game road trip in Portland (9 p.m. Fox Sports Detroit).
"It just felt weird, for the first time today getting out of my own bed and coming to a practice," Walton said Friday.
