Dennis Norfleet, a fixture in Michigan's return game, is not listed on the football roster released Wednesday.
There has been considerable speculation regarding the status of Norfleet, a Detroit-native who attended Detroit King, in the last few months, since his high school coach told The Detroit News in May that Norfleet had been kicked off the team.
King coach Dale Harvel told The News then that Norfleet, entering his senior season, was kicked off the team after a "rough semester." But new coach Jim Harbaugh, even as late as last week during a meeting with reporters, was not definitive regarding Norfleet's status with the team.
