Some job interviews go better than others, but DeAndre Haynes nearly botched his without even opening his mouth.
It was last month in Atlanta when the newly hired Michigan men's basketball assistant coach got his first sit-down meeting with John Beilein.
The two had talked previously on the phone. Haynes was aware with of the two openings on Beilein's staff, and the Michigan head man had been told good things and wanted to give him the time of day.
"I got myself together and patted my bald head down, because I was sweating a little bit," Haynes said Tuesday morning on "The Michigan Insider" radio show on Ann Arbor's WTKA 1050-AM.
