Michigan’s offense needs a clear and concise voice, someone who holds others accountable and isn’t afraid to speak up in good times or bad. It appears that voice has is starting quarterback Cade McNamara, who has has taken leaps and bounds in his leadership abilities since the 2020 season ended.
“Cade’s leadership, since I’ve been here, I haven’t seen a quarterback really take charge like he has,” offensive tackle Ryan Hayes told the media on Friday. “He’s really trying to lead, he’s really putting that effort in, he’s not afraid to tell you when you need something or he wants something from you.
