Two Michigan Football greats are up for the College Football Hall of Fame in 2022, as Steve Hutchinson and Mark Messner both made it on next year’s ballot.
Hutchinson, whose son Aidan is a defensive lineman on the current Michigan roster, was a dominant offensive lineman back in the late ‘90s. He was a part of the National Championship team in 1997 as a true freshman, and was a unanimous First-Team All-American his senior year in 2000. According to the HOF, Hutchinson is also just one of seven players in Big Ten history to be a four-time First Team All-Big Ten player.
