One of the worst kept secrets of the offseason is that the Michigan Wolverines will be exploring the transfer portal for reinforcements in 2021. Much of that focus is going to come on the defensive side of the ball and a new target has emerged in the form of Penn State linebacker Lance Dixon.
Dixon, who is a former five-star recruit per 247 Sports, entered his name into the portal on Wednesday. His name popping up is notable given that he is a former standout at West Bloomfield High School under head coach Ron Bellamy, who was recently hired to coach the wide receivers on Jim Harbaugh’s rebooted staff.
