Former Michigan cornerback Jourdan Lewis’ legal issues apparently have not set off any alarms with the Dallas Cowboys, who drafted him in last month’s NFL Draft.
Lewis was charged with one misdemeanor count of domestic violence stemming from an alleged incident with his then-girlfriend on March 15. He pleaded not guilty and is scheduled for a jury trial in July.
As The Detroit News reported in March, the police report from the March incident also referenced that on May 5, 2015, police had been called to the couple’s residence for a “domestic incident.
