ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Freshman forward Kyle Connor had three points (2G, A), and junior forwards Alex Kile and Tyler Motte each added a goal and an assist to lead the sixth-ranked University of Michigan ice hockey team to a 5-2 win over Ferris State.

Sophomore defenseman Zach Werenski added a goal, his first in nine games, and senior goaltender Steve Racine made 24 saves to improve to 14-2-3 on the season in net.

Junior forward JT Compher added two assists, including his 100th career point, becoming the 84th player in Michigan Hockey history to reach the century mark, and the first junior since Carl Hagelin (2010) to accomplish that feat.
