Column: Jim Harbaugh's got plenty of work to do, but now he knows what Michigan has

SALT LAKE CITY -- Jim Harbaugh walked into an over-stuffed, over-heated visitor's media room Thursday night holding a very clear expression.

His debut as Michigan's head football coach ended in defeat, and he begins his tenure in Ann Arbor with an 0-1 record. But his attitude was hardly steeped in rage or despair. Instead, he displayed a sense of settled focus.

Because, in reality, now he knows.

Michigan went through 15 practices in the spring (60 hours) and roughly a month of fall camp.
