Clemson jumped over Michigan in this week’s Amway coaches’ poll, claiming the No. 2 spot the Wolverines owned last week.
Clemson thumped Syracuse 54-0, but Michigan wasn’t lacking for style points, either, scoring touchdowns on all five of its first-half drives en route to a 59-3 win over Maryland.
Both teams are 9-0, as are Alabama and Washington, which remained No. 1 and No. 4, respectively.
Ohio State, which crushed Nebraska, 62-3, took Louisville’s spot at No. 5.
The Associated Press poll will be released later Sunday.
