Michigan has known of Taylor Currie since he was a tall, slim, under-the-radar recruit in Columbus, Ohio. The 2019 forward played as a freshman at Worthington Christian School, just north of Columbus.
This past year, Currie and U-M grew closer. It was hard not to. He and his family moved to Michigan and he enrolled at Clarkston High School, one of the state's finest basketball programs. The Wolverines kept up the recruitment and that brings us to Thursday.
The day Currie was offered and committed to Michigan's class of 2019.
As part of his annual June 15 scholarship distribution to rising juniors, John Beilein extended an offer to Currie.
