Chuck Filiaga may have been one of the most affected players by the shortened season in 2020. Having been buried on the depth chart his first three years in Ann Arbor, Filiaga finally got the opportunity to start consistently in 2020 and had mixed results. Heading into 2021, Filiaga is slated to compete for the left guard spot and has all the opportunity in the world to make an impact at Michigan.

Filiaga is originally from Vista Murrieta High School in California. Before his senior season, he transferred to Aledo High School in Aledo, Texas, which is just west of Fort Worth.
