If there was any doubt Chris Webber has had enough about his relationship with former Michigan teammmate Jalen Rose, it was sufficiently removed Thursday.
Webber, the former Fab Five member, was interviewed Thursday on The Doug Gottlieb Show on CBS Sports Radio, seemingly to tout his new gig at Wake Forest, where he will teach a “sports storytelling” master’s program starting next fall.
And, he did. Then, toward the end of the interview, Gottlieb asked Webber about Rose.
There’s been an apparent rift between Webber and his former Fab Five teammates, something that played out around the 2011 release of Rose’s ESPN “30 for 30” documentary on the group that arrived on campus in 1991 and helped the Wolverines reach the NCAA title game in 1992 and 1993.
