Michigan assistant coach Chris Partridge, considered one of the program's best recruiters and a fiery leader on the field, is leaving Jim Harbaugh’s staff for Ole Miss.
" ... My family and I are so ready for this," Partrdge tweeted Thursday afternoon. "The TOP is the only option! You've get everything I have."
Lane Kiffin, recently named Ole Miss head coach, announced Thursday he has hired Partridge, as well as DJ Durkin, who was Harbaugh’s defensive coordinator in 2015.
Durkin and Partridge are both former national recruiters of the year.
