Chris Partridge is known for his recruiting prowess. But this offseason, Michigan football's safeties and special teams coach found himself on the other side of things, when Nick Saban and Alabama came calling.
Partridge described Saban’s overtures as "awesome" and a shock at first. He saw it as an opportunity to work with another great coach and gain a different perspective. The whole experience was flattering.
But Alabama wasn’t where Partridge wanted to be. Michigan was, which is why the assistant coach is back in Ann Arbor.
