Jehu Chesson’s junior season concluded in impressive fashion. After going the first seven games of the year without a receiving touchdown, he pulled in nine over the last six contests. Over that span, he racked up enough yards to be on pace with the top-20 pass catchers in the nation. But in the Wolverines 41-7 blowout against Florida in the Citrus Bowl, something went wrong.
Grabbing five balls for 118 yards and a score, Chesson walked with a noticeable limp following the game. He didn’t know it at the time, but the injury sustained had lasting repercussions, knocking him from the lineup during the spring.
