Chesson, Butt among U-M offensive players honored

The Big Ten completed its announcement of the all-conference team on Tuesday evening, revealing the offensive players selected among the elite in the league. The Wolverines had three among the first- through third-team and several others noted for honorable mention.

Junior Jake Butt was named the Kwalick-Clark Tight End of the Year, also receiving the billing as a first-team performer. On the season, Butt pulled in 48 catches for 620 yards and three touchdowns.

While it was no surprise that Butt was recognized for his play, some might have been taken off guard by Jehu Chesson making the cut as a first-team wide receiver according to the conference coaches.
