Michigan senior defensive end Chase Winovich was in a "good place" after receiving a slew of medical tests following an apparent upper-body injury during Saturday's game against Indiana at Michigan Stadium.
Winovich received X-rays at the stadium and further tests, including a CAT scan, at the hospital, and the initial tests came back negative, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh said after the 31-20 win over the Hoosiers.
Harbaugh would not specify which body part was injured or tested.
"Things are progressing well with Chase. X-rays were negative here at the stadium. They took him to the hospital as well, further tests, CAT scan, etc.
