Charles Woodson to enter the University of Michigan's Hall of Honor

ANN ARBOR -- The greatest defensive back ever to come out of the University of Michigan will be honored by the school in a spring-time ceremony.

Charles Woodson, who went on to have a long and illustrious NFL career, will enter Michigan's Hall of Honor alongside six others. A date and location for the ceremony have not yet been determined.

Woodson helped lead the Wolverines to their 1997 national championship, earning first-team All-American Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year honors while claiming the prestigious Heisman Trophy award for most outstanding player college football player in the country.
