ANN ARBOR, MI - Michigan legend and Heisman Trophy winner Charles Woodson is an Ohio native, but he didn't pull any punches when speaking about his home state and the Wolverines' biggest rival Ohio State during his Spring Commencement speech.
Woodson, who referred to the Buckeyes as "you know who" throughout his speech, made a bold prediction on Saturday, April 28, as the University of Michigan's commencement speaker, guaranteeing a win over OSU in his fiery, competitive remarks.
Drawing numerous parallels between himself and fellow Michigan Heisman winner Desmond Howard, also an Ohio native, Woodson fondly recalled taking a punt return down the sideline to the endzone of Michigan Stadium in 1997, much like Howard did against OSU in 1991, leading the Wolverines to victory.
