Charles Matthews' reset at Michigan changed the Wolverines' program for the better

There was no private chef. The extravagant lounge space was gone. The room was not designed for maximum luxury and convenience.

And shortly after the first bag hit the floor, Nichole Matthews turned to her son and offered a loving reminder that the process had officially started.

"This is college, Charles," she said.
