Charles Matthews declares for 2018 NBA Draft without hiring an agent

As of Friday morning, a second Wolverine has declared for the 2018 NBA Draft.

Charles Matthews announced on Twitter that he will test the NBA waters without hiring an agent, meaning he can still regain his remaining two years of college eligibility.

Matthews will have until May 30 to decide if he will return to school or not. That date marks 10 days after the NBA Draft Combine is complete.

The Kentucky transfer averaged 13 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game in his first active season on Michigan’s roster. In the Wolverines run to the NCAA title game, Matthews averaged 14.
