ANN ARBOR, MI - The Charity Beer Garden will pour beer ahead of University of Michigan football games and raise money to help people fighting cancer.
Bonnie Dockham, executive director of The Cancer Support Community in Ann Arbor, confirmed the Charity Beer Garden is returning for two more seasons on Hoover Street after property owner Martin Vloet decided not to sell the Stadium Club building.
The sale was a possibility in 2016, when the venue was dreamed up by the brothers behind Slow's Bar BQ in Detroit, who needed a place to set up their food truck and get in with the tailgating crowd.
