For nearly 15 months, Chad Carr rallied prayers from around the nation as he fought brain cancer.
Today, that fight ended.
The 5-year-old from Saline has died, according to a tweet from his mother, Tammi.
Carr, the grandson of Hall of Fame U-M coach Lloyd Carr and Hall of Fame safety Tom Curtis, was diagnosed with DIPG, an inoperable brain tumor in September 2014. His family has made his fight -- with the #ChadTough hashtag and foundation to raise money to combat it -- a public battle.
Carr started hospice care less than two weeks ago.
