Michigan Wolverines fans never will forget the future Pro Football Hall of Famer who won the Heisman Trophy by intercepting passes, catching passes and returning punts.
Or the walk-on quarterback who became the MVP of the Rose Bowl.
Or the College Football Hall of Fame coach who so many thought wasn’t the man for the job, considered part of an antiquated machinery passed on from Bo and Mo.
Believe it or not, it’s time to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the incredible 1997 season when the Wolverines went undefeated, won a thrilling Rose Bowl and captured the national championship, the school’s 11th and first in nearly a half-century.
