Michigan senior cornerback Jeremy Clark is done for the season after tearing his ACL in Saturday's 49-10 win over Penn State.
U-M coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed the news at his news conference today. He said Brandon Watson and freshmen Lavert Hill and David Long Jr. will have increased roles in Clark's absence.
Harbaugh also said he couldn't remember when a team went on to a field to surround a player, as dozens of Wolverines did while Clark was being carted off after getting injured on a kickoff in the fourth quarter.
"Being in the same class as Jeremy, you see that, and I was speechless watching it because he's worked so hard," U-M offensive lineman Ben Braden said.
