Caris LeVert is doubtful vs. Nebraska, injury not related to stress fracture history

ANN ARBOR — Caris LeVert is likely to miss his sixth straight game on Saturday when Michigan faces Nebraska at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln.

Coach John Beilein said the 6-foot-7 guard is "doubtful" for the game, but followed by offering some more information about the All-American candidate's injury.

Asked again if the injury, which U-M has only described as a lower left leg injury, is related to LeVert's history of a stress fracture in his left foot, Beilein clarified some of the speculation.

"It's not related," Beilein said. "It's just an injury."

LeVert underwent surgery to repair a stress fracture in his left foot following his sophomore year.
